Munster, Germany
We went to a German American Club meeting for rich German's and American students. I stood and didn't understand a single word in the speeches, except "President Clinton." Then we went to McDonald's for a strawberry malt and a Victory burger. We went to the Statsmuseum and then biked home, stopping quickly at the Anabaptist-killing church to look around. We just called Steffi and set a meeting with her tomorrow night. We biked over to Jen's to leave Alexandra's bike there for her, and to have dinner (pancakes and French toast). We managed to borrow another bike for the day, a green one with purple stars all over. Then back to our flat until nighttime, talking and listening. John made a pasta bake with Gouda cheese and last night's spaghetti that was grand. We went to bed.

We went to the Ballard House in the morning before breakfast, and I worked up updating the computers there. Rachel arranged for someone to work that day because of an illness of one of the staff. She picked up some coffee and breakfast at Kwik Trip for us, and I showered and dressed to go to Minneapolis for Rock the Garden at the Walker art center with Jacob. We stopped in Wabasha along the way to pick up some stationary stuff for the wedding invitations. We ate there with Gayle and Craig at a fancy new Mexican restaurant that was quite good.
We met Jacob and walked to the concert, where we first got a Summit Pale Ale each just before OK GO! performed. Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings was the highlight for us, although MGMT was playing the last and longest. We drove home that night, and stopped for a refreshing Rochester McDonald's break on the way, where Rachel took over the driver seat and I drifted. We listened to "The Silver Chair" the whole way and back, and it finished a few minutes before we got to Spring Grove.
