Moon's Untraceable

posted May 20, 2009, 10:00 AM by David Storlie

I woo you
with word pictures
clouds speckled with geese

under the moonlights
full breasts
trace their flight

Two young doe bound
over your stomach,
and the shape of your body

behind veils:  beautiful and muscular
Canada geese
waddling against translucent sheets

awaking to your skin
patterned against
wrinkled pillows

ruffled feathers
behind a blanket of clouds
the moon's untraceable tale

as the buck rouses
those doe beneath
startled flights of geese

leaping in naked
adolescent deer
stomach to stomach with moonlight

I woo you
with word pictures
translucent sheets
