Overcast

posted May 20, 2009, 9:59 AM by David Storlie

I regret
not thrashing
like fishes do
in the nets

overcast
by those
patient hazel
moons.

unbaited, starboard
never so many
even as few
as two ships

passed one night
by narrow chances
charting
the same sky.
