We met Jill for dinner at Docs, where we gave her birthday presents and had a meal. I spent the rest of the night building my new computer, SMURF with windows 7 and and an ssd boot drive. It screams.

Wind led me to drive a car today, but it is probably the last 70 plus temp to occur here in the mid-west until spring.

Temps were under 40 this morning on the ride into work. The BMW F800st does seem to want to go fast on cold morning, and I have to keep it in check. I prepared the '57 Chevy 3800 long bed truck to bring to town after work, so that it could be used as part of the Festival of Trees. I hope to get some driving in as well, but it will be parked in the fest building for quite a few weeks, until after Thanksgiving, so it probably will have to go straight back into storage afterwards. Rachel made me breakfast this morning, eggs and tomatillo tomatoes that I had roasted last night. I think I prefer them after being in a bag in the freezer for a while as well, as they start to mellow and break down.
