beneath a veil:  

proud and muscular

geese waddling 

against translucent sheets

or two young does bound

over your stomach,

clouds speckled with geese

under the moonlight

trace their flight

awaking to your skin

patterned against

wrinkled pillows

 ruffled feathers

behind a blanket of clouds

adolescent deer

stomach to stomach with moonlight

 rouse those does beneath

startled flights of geese

reversing shadows below
